Prepping for day 1 before beginning the Dukan Diet...

Well today is what I call day zero. I'm beginning the Dukan Lifestyle diet plan tomorrow so I've given myself the dAy to mentally prepare by induling in the last of the major carbs and sweets I will have for a while.

I am determined to take off about 50 lbs after two children, lots of business/entertaining meals, and giving myself the guilt trip for ever trying to exercise (poorly) over the past six and a half years. I'm not sure at which point, I gave up on eating healthy and exercising...but I believe it was after my first child was born about six years ago. Then, I told myself that I would get back in shape after I was done having children (sound familiar?). Well, what I've realized is that I should have always left some time for myself and tried to take care of myself. Nonetheless, here I am six years later, 60 lbs heavier with a much crazier and busier schedule than ever before, trying tonfigure this out.

I've heard lots of good comments regarding the Dukan Diet, so I'll begin here tomorrow. Today, I'm buying oat grains and lean meat prepping for the next week of travel.
